DEVOLUTION. In 1976, the United States gained independence from Great Britian for economic reaosns. Great Britian gave the US independnece because it was costing them too much. -
Quebec/Canada
Since 1876 people of Quebec have wanted indpendence from Canada. This is because Quebec is french and catholic, while the rest of canada is Protestant. They want independence for cultural reasons. Quebec is still apart of Canada due to the fact that Quebec is in the middle of Canada. -

SUPRANATIONALISM. The Triple Entente was formed in 1882 for a military alliance. The group consisted of Great Britian, France and Russia. They agreed not to attack eachother, keeping Germany from taking over Europe -
Yugoslavia
DEVOLUTION. Yugoslavia was created in 1918, but split up because of political reasons. Yugoslavia split into Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Southeast Romania, Serbia, and European Turkey. -
League of Nations
SUPRANATIONALISM. The League of Nations was formed in 1934 for economic reasons.The countries in LOG were Belguim, Netherlands and Luxembourg. It was created to position the ocuntries more strongly economically, politically and evern militaristically. -
Ireland/Great Britian
DEVOLUTION. Irealnd gained its' independence from Great Britian in 1949 because of ethnic reasons. Ireland was granted independence because they wanted it and the Irish fought the UK for it. -
Palestinian Liberation Organization
SUPRANATIONALISM. The PLO was created in 1964 for cultural reasons. ThePLO consists mainly of Plaestinians. The PLO was created to give voice to the Palestinians. -
European Union
SUPRANATIONALISM. The EU was created in 1992 for economic reasons. The countries in the EU are Germany, France and the United Kingdom. The reason the EU was to create a formal establishment of unified members common currancy and it made trade easier. -
North American Free Trade Agreement
SUPRANATIONALISM. NAFTA was created in 1994 for economic reasons. The countries in NAFTA are Canada, United States and Mexico. NAFTA was created to gradually eliminate tariffs and taxes between the allied countires -
Scotland/United Kingdom
DEVOLUTION. Ever since 1998 Scotland has stuck with the United Kingdom for protection, even though they would gain more money being independent. They are still with the UK for economic reasons.
