    This event was an important battle during the Seven years War. Quebec City happened to be taken over by English forces. The English furthermore had gained superiority in Canada which caused Quebeckers to feel opressed.
  • Treaty of Paris

    It lower tension between Francophone and Anglophone relations because Great Britain was fighting against the French supports Americans in the American revolution.
  • Act of Constitution

    Quebeckers didnt like British people coming to their country
  • Marcus Duplessis and the National Union

  • The Battle of Abraham

    This increased tension between the two because the English beat the French in this battle for Quebec
  • Durham Report

    Durham wanted French Canadaians to be assimilated into British culture this mad quebeckers angry
  • Rebellions

    the rebellion was caued by a rift and the races english and french canadian and the fighting further pushed them apart
  • Confederation

    Quebec wanted to become independant and not be a part of British Culture
  • WW1 Conscription Crisis

    Quebeckers did ot belive in the war they did not want to fight in a war they did not belive in and being forced to made them angry
  • October Crisis

    The kidnappings made cnadians afrad and aware that the FlQ wee serious and violent this made candians angry not just to the FLQ but to all french Candians

    Quebeckers thought no one cared about them. They were being forced to do things they didnt believe in and they resented the canadians ecause of this
  • Rene Levesque Elected With the Party Quebecois

    This made Canadians angry because quebec didnt want to be a pat of their country even though they belive they have given them so much to help them

    Canadians felt like quebec was trying to force french on everyone and that made them resent the quebeckers

    the first vot e to make quebec independant failed but did not stop quebec from trying again

    Levesque felt betrayed by the end pushing the two apart

    This affects Francophone relations because most of Quebec doesn’t agree with the act and have never signed it

    After having so many of their propositions shutdown the french candans felt that they needed much more attention

    Quebeckers felt ingonred and uncared for because they never got anything they wanted

    the second referendum to decide if Quebec should become independant was very close and gave quebec hope that it might one day be independant
