  • Death of king Louis XVI death

    The king led France into destruction and for his actions they executed him. When the king was executed the nobles gained more political power.
  • Fall of the Bastille

    The third estate rebelled and burn the the Bastille because they want to become independent
  • Economic Crisis

    the population started to increase at this time.There was poor harvest and not able to expand trading. Also the economy slowed down.
  • The constitution

    The National Assembly gave France their first constitution . The constitution gave the king power to veto the laws.The last thing the constitution did,was giving rights to all citizens
  • The Revolutionary take over

    revolutionary troops attacked the king and his family house. troops ended up killing the kings guards.The Legislative Assembly protected the King and his family.
  • The reign of terror

    there were 40,000 that were sentenced to death many women, children, and men. The trails paying off. Also Robespierre was put to death
  • Greek independence

    nationalism rebelled against the Turkish rulers. The Ottoman Empire realized that Greeks became independent. They tried to stop the rebellion.
  • The first Election under the new Constitution

    Napoleon was the first President.He pleased everyone. Assumed his tittle was Napoleon Emperor of France
  • Attempt to unify Germany

    German states were issued with a constitution. The constitution stated that the people had to give there right of a central government. They offed the crown to Fredrick William IV so he could start ruling.
  • Up rise in Italy

    Revolutionaries over through their king. Other parts of Italy forced rulers to give them liberal rights.
