    Martin Luther was very important because he sparked the Protestant Reformation and showed people the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. Martin Luther wrote the 95 Thesis and "started" Lutheranism. Also he started the "fracturing" of the Roman Catholic Church.

    John Calvin is very important because he had a very large impact on the Protestant Reformation. He helped to form the fundamental doctrines of Protestantism. Also, he continued to teach Martin Luther's ideas once he passed.
