Montag runs into a girl named Clarisse while he is walking and starts talking to her. After they are done talking he walks her to her house. Ever since then he started to look for her every time he went walking. -

Montag's wife overdoses
Montag come homes late at night, only to find that his wife has overdosed, and an empty bottle of sleeping pills. He then calls an ambulence and she has the medicine taken out of her system. -
Montag's wife breaks the news
Montag had not been walking with Clarisse for a while and started to become curious as to what had happend. Montag asked his wife is she had any idea what had happened and she told him the news about Clarisse being ran over by a car and killed. -
Plotting the crime
After Clarisse's death Montag had become very interested at the thought of books. In result he started plotting ways he would be able to sneak sone home. -
Committing the crime
Montag finds out about a house that the firemen are supposed to burn down. he then goes to the house and steals one, and eventually shows his wife what he had taken. -
Tattle Tale
His wife runs into his book under Montag's pillow and is shocked by her discovery. His wife would not stand for this so she pulls the alarm sending the firemen to their house. -
Charred
The firemen and Montag respond to the call and go to a house which turns out to be his where he discovers that Mildred had pulled the alarm. Montag is forced to burn down his own house and the books. Montag aslo ends burning Beatty, the other firemen and the mechanical hound. -
Runaway
When the firemen come to Montag's house he somehow manages to escape from them by running through back alley ways. -
Hide and Go Seek
After he escapes from the firemen, he is then persued by the government. He ends up getting shot at when he is running away. -
Homeless Collectors
The government never ended up catching Montag. In result Montag became a hobo because his house was burned down and had no where to go. He then joined other hobos in secretly collecting books.
