As Montag is walking home from work he meets a 17 year old girl named Clarisse. Clarisse asks multiple questions about Montag and his life as a fireman. She asks " -
The next day
Clarisse and Montag walk home again. Clarisse picks up a dandelion and says "if it rubs off, it means I'm in love." Clarisse puts it under her chin and it rubbed off, then she puts it under Montag's chin but nothing happens. A little while after that before Montag went in his house Clarisse asks "are you happy?"
