    France's government lost a lot of money because of the spendings of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, and so later, King Louis faced many problems.

    By this time King Louis XVI decided to make nobility pay taxes since he had been loosing money.
  • National Assembly

    By this time, the National Assembly was established and they ordered to remove absolute monarchy, but the start of Representative government.
  • Bastille Attack

    The Bastille Attack had to do with a mob searching for gunpowder and arms, got into the Bastille, a prison and killed every soldier and carried their heads in the spikes.
  • Constitution

    National Assembly completed the New Constitution.
  • Legislative Assembly

    By this time, the assembly declares war against Austria and Prussia for wanting Louis back in his spot of an absolute monarch.
  • Prussian Forces

    About 20,000 men and women advance to Paris and invade the royal family capturing Louis, Marie and their children.
  • Additions to the War

    Great Britain, holland and Spain join the war against France.
  • King Louis XVI

    By this time, after all his weak ruling, King Louis XVI is beheaded in the guillotine.
  • Maximilien Robespierre

    Robespierre becomes dictatorship of France. (Known as the Reign of Terror) Because he had forced many people to walk to the guillotine for no reason. But then members of the National Convention turn on Robespierre and so he is sentenced to death in the guillotine
