Guy's friend Beatty comes visit him and explains and Montag doesn't reply -

Montag becomes interested in books and tries to take one home. -

Beatty taunts Montag with quotes and Montag burns down his own house and Beatty and the Mechanical hound -
His wife pulls the alarm on him
Montag's wife pulls the alarm because he won't give the books to her. -

When the firemen comes to Montag's house to get the books he took, Montag runs away through the back -

Montag goes to his teacher, Faber, with a bible and tries to remember. -
