  • Guy Montag meets Clarisse McCllelan

    After walking down the street Guy runs into Clarisse, a young free willed girl.
  • Mildred attempts suicide

    Guy comes home after a long day to discover an empty pill container on the floor and a motionless Mildred on the bed. He calls for help and the men come and use a strange machine to suck the toxins out of her.
  • Clarisse's death

    After numerous days of not speaking with the young girl Montag asks his wife if she knows anything about her wherabouts. Sadly Guy discovers she has been killed.
  • The lady and the book

    While at work Montag and his team get a call about some books in an old lady's home. They arrive and drench everything in kerosine as they always do however Montag keeps on of the lady's books and flee's when she strikes a match and sets herself and her home up in flames.
  • Captain Beatty's talk and the discovery of the hidden books

    After arriving home Montag is very curious about all the books he has burned and what they hold inside the pages. The day after the burning of the old lady's home Montag finds himself lost and upset, this is when Beatty comes to have a talk with Montag and tells him the dangers of these novels. This is also when Mildred discovers the book and Montag later shows her the pile of stories he has been hiding in the home.
  • Montag seeks help

    After trying to read all the books Montag can not see to understand what they all mean, this is when he remembers the old man he met at the park with a knowledge of poems. He calls this Mr. Faber and seeks his help to understand these novels, Faber then agrees to help him.
  • Montag's rage and his wifes betrayl

    Back at home Mildred has some friends over and they discuss meaningless topics which pushes Montag over the edge. He then reads sections of books outloud to these woman which drives them out of his house. These woman then called Captain Beatty and tolf him about the books however he disregarded this first call. It was not until Mildred herself called in that the fire department was sent to Montag's home to set it ablaze.
  • Montag sets his home ablaze

    After arriving at his home with the other firemen Beatty tells Montag to burn down his house, which he does. However afterwards Beatty pushes him on and Montag ends up setting him and the mechanical hound (the monster ready to kill if needed) on fire.
  • Montag runs

    After the fight at Montag's home he begins to flee (with a few books he saved from his backyeard) down dark alleys to escape the firemen and the police that he knows are now after him. He runs to Faber's home and hears about the upcoming war that has been announced on his city as well as the large police search for him.
  • The escape

    After leaving Faber's home Montag heads for the river to escape the city and hopefully escape the new Hound that is after him. Once he reaches the river he dresses himself up in Faber's clothing to try and desguise his scent. He then floats down the river and away from the chaos.
  • The new men

    Once Montag escapes the city and arrives in the countryside he comes across a group of homeless men who all have knowledge on books and the same ideas as Montag. The men accept Montag into their group. Sadly this is also when the war begins and bombs are dropped upon the city until it has all fallen. This is when the group heads back to the city to help anyone who may need it.
