    Massacres in Paris Prisons

    There was a massacre in the prisons of Paris. Between 1400 and 2000 prisoners were massacred, the great majority were criminals, some were priests, guards, and political prisoners. This contributed to the cause of the French Revolution because so many prisoners died during the massacre
  • Death of Louis XVI

    The National Convention had taken power, and former king of France Louis XVI was executed by the guillotine this is a terrible way for a king to die.

    Charles Leclure arrested 5,000 of the 20,000 troops that lived at cap Francois. This caused many unhappy people because so many people got arrested that lived at this camp.
