It was in result of an uprising against France. Led by the former slave, Toussaint L'Ouveture. -
Chinese Revolution
It established the communist party as the official government of China. The country is now known as the People's Republic of China. -
Russian Revolution
The common people decided to rid the country of all monarchy, aristocracy and wealthy people. They wanted to take on a full-on democracy but ultimately ended up becoming communist under the USSR.
