    The Treaty Of Paris This was signed by the kingdoms of great Brittan, France, and Spain, with portugal in agreement. It ended the French and Indian War. In the treaty it allowed most of the territorys conquered by the british returned to its origional owner. The treaty of paris is thought to be the reason france gave louisiana to spain but the real reason was The Treaty of Fontainebleau.

    American revolution The American Revolution was heating up for ten years when the british kept on putting taxes on the 13 colonies. Each time the Colonies protested and finaaly they had enough. The colonists started buiding a weapon stash in Concord and general Gage found so the british army came to destroy it but the minute man met them there and shots were fired so the decleration of independence was born.

He also stated that the attempts to convert indians to christianity all except a couple missions failed and Rubi urged spain to pull back. only Santa Fe and San Antonio Remained.

The treaty of paris 1783 ended the war and recognized the united states as a independant country.

He realized he couldnt control it because he needed troops and funds for the renewed war against britain so he offered to sell it to the U.S.

James Long teamed up with José Félix Trespalacios a former Mexican who had fought against Spanish rule in Mexico. They made their first filibuster expedition to Texas in 1819. Long was successful in capturing Nacogdoches, with his followers proclaiming Long the first President of the Republic of Texas.
