    A group of craftsman and salesman decides to attack the Bastille that was a prison in order to steal some weapons. They wanted to attack the Bastille bbecause it was seen as a symbol of the King's absolute and arbitrary power.

    The slaves in Haiti got together to plan their revolution. In this ceremony they infomred how everything was supposed to be done, starting by burning the fields. The ceremony wa gaven y Boukman and the ones that were going to rebel were, slaves, mulattoes, free blacks, and maroons. It was held in a forest were they practiced Vodoo rituals and animal sacrifice.

    The regin of terror began and their first act was to guillotine Marie Antoinette to show their power. Their job was to control or kill everyone who opposed to the revolution. Around 30,000 people lost their lifes during this period.
