    Second Cusade

    The second cruasde was the second major crusade launched from Europe, It was respose to the fall of the country of Edessa. The second crusade was announced by pope Eugene 3 & was the first crusade to be let by the European crusade.

    Saladin Retakes the City of Jerusalem

    They defeated the crusaders & shamed them by treating the city with kindeness & keeping every promise he made to the people in the city.

    The third Crusade

    It was knoens as the kings crusade, it was an attempt by european leaders to reconquer the holy land from Saladin, it was succesful but fell short of its ultimate goal the reconquest of jerusalem

    Turks capture Constantinople

    The capture of the Constantinople marked the end of the Roman empire, a state that had lasted nearly 1500 years. In 1451 a new sulta, Mahmomet 2, came to Turkish throne and swore to capture constantinople. He trained an army of fighters called Janissaries aand engaged a hungarian engineer to cast guns which proved to be the worlds largest. Withi two years he was ready to attack in April 1453

  • Arab League decalres Jihad on Israel

    On the day that Israel declared its independence , the arab league secretary, General Azzam Pasha declared Jihab a holy war. He said "This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades".1 The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini stated, "I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all!" 2 The armies of lebanon, The israel armies invaded a new country with clear intents of destroying it.

    Its a war from 1954-1962 against the french government in North Africa. It was directed by Gillo Pontecorvo. There was a movie on it & they said it took the 120th place in the top 500 movies by Empire magazines.
  • The Seuz canal Incident

    The seuz crisis also known as the Tripartite Agression or Seuz War was a military confrontation in th late 1956 between Egypt on one side, and Britain, France and Israel on the other, with th united states. The attack followed the president of egypt Gamal Abdel Nassers decision of the 26 July 1956 to nationalize the suez canal.
