    Oliver Cromwell was an English general and statesman who led armies of the Parliament of England agaonst King Charles I dyring the English Civil War. He died due to complications relating to a form of Malaria and kidney stone diseases.

    This was the first English parliament after the restoration of charles II to the throne. Over the years, its membership changed and it became critical of many of Chalrles policies. It is est known for the harsh laws it enacted against Roman Catholics.

    The Great Plague of London was a major epidemic to occur in England. It killed 75000 people, and known as the Black Death. It was caused by a bacterial infection transmitted by fleas and spread through contact.
