The First Crusade ( The People's Crusades )
The First Crusade was led by a monk named Peter the Hermit. He gathered a group of common people to fight which was unsuccessful. This is why the First Crusade was also called the People's Crusade. Most of Peter's people were either killed in battle or starved to death.
