Who am I?

  • Birth

At 3:02 pm on June 11th, 1999, in St.Mary's hospital in Pennsylvania, the world became blessed with me. At the time of my birth I doubt anybody thought I would become the person I am today. Life was just getting started for me.
  • Transferred from Catholic to Public School

Transferred from Catholic to Public School
Until the third grade, I attended St. Michael the Archangel's catholic school. When I transferred to Lincoln elementary school I had no idea what I was getting into. I actually was astounded by how different everything was. There was no mass period, no upper level, no bible classes, the food tasted so much different; it was crazy.
  • Found what I was born to do

Found what I was born to do
In the fifth grade I began to grow a very large interest in fish and other marine animals. I would watch documentaries, read books studying up on them, spend so much of my summer at the Camden Aquarium. I knew at age of 11 I wanted to become a marine biologist. I've gone through stages where I've wanted to be someone else, business women, serve in the armed forces, etc. But this is me, and it's what I was born to do
  • F.D.R

    F.D.R
F.D.R middle school is where I decided that I can not act like a child anymore. I learned there that in order to gain respect you must have maturity. All that fun and games that came along with elementary school was over and middle school was the time that you really have to learn on your own that in order for success you must figure out your own personal priorities.
  • Caught Tiger Fever

    Caught Tiger Fever
In August of 2013, I became a student at Harry S. Truman high school. On my first day of freshman year, I had no idea how much I would change and grow just throughout my four years here. There have been over 720 days that I have spent in this building watching myself and everyone around me grow into who we are now. Harry S Truman is where I learned everything in life is not going to be handed to you, that if you want something you have to make that effort to go and get it.
  • First Job

    First Job
I remember the exact day that I got my first job, and how excited I was to work in the mall. I thought that I was one of the coolest people in the school because my other friends would be walking around the mall with their friends doing hood rat stuff while I was working, making money. I applied for the job the day I turned 16, because I knew that I needed to become responsible.
  • Found my Best Friends

    Found my Best Friends
Sophomore year of high school I realized who I enjoyed spending my time with the most. In the tenth grade I found who my best friends really were. From then to now we spend most of our time with each other. Whether it's going to the beach, going camping, going out to eat, or just sitting at home and watching movies we were always with each other. I can't imagine doing all of those activities with other people. They're my best friends and I have such a strong love for them.
  • License

The day I got my license was the first time I think I've ever actually experienced freedom. Being a 16 year old girl, going somewhere without your mom being up your butt about it is the best thing anybody could experience. It was awesome, I felt like I could accomplish anything.
  • Best Day Ever

Graduation!!! Goodbye Truman!! I'll see you never. Truman has given me so many amazing experiences and important lessons but thank GOD I'm graduating. Some of the people in this school are way too immature. I realized that I have grown so much from the person that I once was. Four years ago I was a completely different person surrounded by completely different people with a completely different mindset.
  • Attending Pennsylvania State University

    Attending Pennsylvania State University
Attending Penn State has always been a dream for me, I just never actually expected it to become a reality. I am majoring in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Marine Biology- hoping to one day be working in a marine life conservation center. Pennsylvania State University has always seemed like a dream that was too far to reach. Being committed to my dream school makes me realize that I am capable of anything in life.
  • Conclusion

Who am I? I still have no clue. I am an intelligent, responsible, free, outgoing individual that is going to pursue in a career that I love. However there is so much more of life left to live. And I know that I have not found my true self yet.
How did I get to this point? By finding the people who have directed me into becoming the person I am today. Every single thing I have done in my entire life has lead me to this point, like getting a job, but even the little things such as researching fish
