What if the Gunpowder Plot had not failed?

  • The Gunpowder Plot Succeeded

The Gunpowder Plot was a failed assasination attempt. The attempt was to kill King James I of England. On October 26, 1605, the plot was revealed in an anonymous letter. The plan called for blowing up the House of Lords during the State Opening of England's Parliment. If the Gunpowder Plot had not failed, many historical events would have occured differently, if not occured at all.
