This is a major event of my life because it's when it started. During my childhood my parents showed me the importance of education and helped me as I struggled thorough the my early years of education. Me parents showed me that anything can be achieved through hard work.

A little more than a year after I was born my brother Jonatan was born. His birth been so close to mine gave me someone that was always by my side. While growing up I always had a friend and I never felt alone.

Moving to Arizona had a big impact in my life. Everything that I knew got changed and was so different. When I first got to Arizona and started school I found it really hard because I didn't speak the language.

The birth of my other brother, Isaias, was when I actually started feeling like a big brother. Though my other brother, Jonatan, is also younger the small age difference made not feel that I need to take of him.

Joining IB was one of the best decision I made even though I dropped the IB program at the end of Junior year. The program made me attend Westwood High School, allowed to meet my best friends, and other amazing people that I wouldn't had met otherwise.

My English teacher sophomore year informed the class about a program at ASU in which they paid you to teach you coding. I found the concept of learning to code and getting paid for it interesting so I applied to it. I was accepted to the program and was able to learn the basics of coding which I have made an effort to continue learning on my own after the program ended.

For the IB program it was required that you do a personal project in which you set yourself goal and work on it in order to achieve it. The goal that I set myself was to run a half marathon. Running the half marathon was a lot of work but something that I found fun.

After been part of the track and field team the coach recommended to join the cross-country team in order to run all year. Finding that I enjoyed running I signed up for the team. Even though the races were longer for cross-country I found most the work outs the same. During that year I was able to lower my time in my races for track due to me running year round.
