My Short Term Goal

  • My Goal

    My goal is to workout and practice all year, starting tomorrow, so I can be good enough and fast enough to make the basketball team next year.
  • Working out

    Working out
    Another thing that can help, that I've already been doing every night, is working out. Lifting weights and doing push ups and pull ups will help me gain strength to play. This will make me better at finishing plays, passing, rebounding, and just making me an overall more aggressive player.
  • Eat Healthy

    Eat Healthy
    Eat a lot of good food such as vegetables and proteins. These food would be things like steak and chicken, or carrots and broccoli.
  • Running

    Running
    One thing to really help me have a good chance to make it is to get fast enough. I can accomplish this by running every week day when i get home from school. This will help me increase my speed and my stamina.
  • Practicing at Home

    Practicing at Home
    In my basement every night I'll practice my dribbling, passing, and catching skills. I can do so by doing dribbling drills, and bouncing the ball off the wall and catching it (helps passing and catching).
  • Playing Parks and Rec

    Playing Parks and Rec
    Playing basketball for Parks and Rec is a great way for me to add to my skills, since I'll be playing games against other talented players. It could also help get my other skills, such as shooting and playing defense, as good as my dribbling and passing will be. It also is good for me to be playing on a team to help me be used to that format.
