Date of Birth
It was the month April, on the 16th day in the year 2000, I, Tereah Anton Navasie was born. I don't remember much, but my mom did tell me that when I was finally born, I had turn blue or purple. So i had been rushed to the emergency room. I'm guessing it was few hours later that I recovered and was held in my mom's comforting arms. Nothing much happened throughout my first day other than the usual feeding, burping, urinating, etc. -
rattlesnake bite
During the summertime, unexpectedly, an event came about. I was at my grandmother's house playing outside with my younger cousin when we came across a pile of toys surrounded by bushes. I thought to myself that maybe it wouldn't hurt to go get a couple. I headed toward the pile and I didn't realize there was a baby rattlesnake until it bit me. I don't remember a lot on that day especially the pain, but i do remember crying, screaming and my foot turning black and fat when i was in the hospital. -
learn to ride a bicycle
I got my first bicycle I believe as a Christmas gift or birthday present. On the next day, my older cousin tried teaching me how to ride the bike, but I never succeeded. That is until my other older cousin tried one day and I finally learned to ride my new two-wheel bike. I rode it for the rest of the day and showed off my riding skills to my mom, who then came home later that day. She was proud of me and I was proud of me. -
first pet dog
I have always wanted a dog and never thought i would actually get one. My parents and I were cruising down the streets near where I once lived and we saw a sign saying there was puppies for sale. We went to go look and only look at super cute pit bull/ Labrador puppies, but my dad decided that he could actually buy one the puppies and that was very shocking to hear. We chose the smallest, most playful pup and then enjoyed the rest of the day with our very first dog. -
first cheer competition
I thought it was going to be very nerve-racking but that wasn't the case. We ended up going up against one team with only three cheerleaders. They were good and loud and I'm sorry to say we didn't feel too intimidated. We performed and tried to be so perfect for our first cheer competition and we did just that. After we did our routine we got to watch the more advanced cheerleaders do theirs and it was so cool. After everyone performed, we were listening on the results and we won first place! :) -
first time out of state and seeing the ocean
I was in 7th grade and I was going on a field trip to Catalina Island in California. I had to be dropped off at school at either ten or eleven at night to catch our ride on the bus. My classmates and I would rest on the bus and wake up to go to a breakfast buffet just for us. After, we headed to our next stop, got dressed, and hopped onto a boat to go to the island. During the ride, I got to see dolphins, the ocean for the first time and an island. It was beautiful and a fun experience. -
first junior high dance
This was very exciting to have a junior dance. There was no need for dates which was pretty cool. I got dressed up, took pictures and danced the night away. Once you I started dancing, I couldn't stop and didn't really noticed if I was a bad dancer or not. Besides dancing, I ate a few snacks and rested for a second or two, sipped my drink and then continued to have fun with my friends. -
first day of high school
I was of course very nervous, not knowing where my classes were, how far, not knowing people and wondering where i was going to sit during lunch. Thankfully, I wasn't the only one. I ended up finding my classes just fine, had lunch with one other person and throughout the day not making any friends. It was a typical first day and the next day was easier. I was also excited thinking there might be lockers like I see in movies. Sadly, there wasn't any. -
first sibling
I had been an only child all my life for 16 years. I have always wondered what it be like to have a sibling because it was boring not having one. Out of the blue, my dad told me such surprising news that my mother was with child. I couldn't believe it. I went with my mom to the doctor's where we then got to find out that I have a baby brother. After a few months, my mom gave birth, I could't believe I have a sibling. I couldn't stop smiling. I am so happy I have a baby brother named Cody. -
First day of Senior Year
I got so nervous before the first day I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I couldn't sleep. I woke up 2 hours before I had to got dressed early and waited until I had to leave. I get to school, went to my classes and I haven't seen any of friends all day.To be honest, it was a boring first day of senior year. Throughout my threes years in high school, I have made such wonderful best friends. Sadly, I do not have any of them in any of my classes. But everything is going better now.
