Lifetime Personal Health

  • My Twenties

Healthy Eating: I plan to avoid fast foods and instead replace it with lean protein and fruits and vegetables. Physical Activity: In my twenties, I plan to get a gym membership and workout to maintain a healthy weight. Preventive Health Care: I plan to stay away from tobacco related products in order to avoid addiction and future health effects.
  • My Thirties

Healthy Eating: Realizing that my metabolism will start to slow down, I am going to start keeping track of calories and really eating healthy. Physical Activity: Like the article said, the thirties are my prime years so I will use this to be in the best shape of my life. I will follow a diet plan to keep my weight under control and I will workout regularly. Preventive Care: I will keep my stress under control and get enough sleep while also avoiding tobacco.
  • My Forties

Healthy Eating: I will continue to follow a diet plan to control my weight to avoid getting diabetes and heart disease. At this point, junk food will no longer be a large part of my life because I will focus on personal health. Physical Activity: Chronic Pain and blood pressure will go hand in hand to slow down my physical activity so I will lower my workout plan to something not too straining. Preventive Care: I will get checkups regularly to catch any unexpected diseases or cancers.
  • My Fifties

Healthy Eating: I will cut out most fatty foods from my diet and very salt heavy meals as well. I will watch my alcohol consumption so that I don't get any liver disease. Physical Activity: Walking and swimming will be the core parts of my workout routine because I acknowledge that I can no longer strain myself in the name of being physically fit. Preventive Care: I will get regular exams and tests to make sure that I catch early signs of cancer or other diseases.
  • My Sixties

Healthy Eating: All junk food cut out of my diet. I will consume the recommended servings of fruit and whole grains. Steak and fat heavy foods will only be for special occasions. Physical Activity: Walking or speed walking will be the core parts of my activity because I will be an older man and I wouldn't want to hurt myself working out. Preventive Care: Regular screening and testing to catch early signs of diseases.
