    The Haitian Revolution began because of the enslaved Africans rising in revolt against their French masters for their independence. The social class that participated were the slaves. Toussaint L'Ouverture (a former slave) and General Jean-Jacques Dessalines (Toussaints' lieutenant) were the leaders of this Haitian revolution.

    The Mexican Revolution began because the lower classes such as the Indians, creoles and mestizos felt a loss of their property, control over their land, and their lives and wanted to become independent from Spain. The first leader of the revolution was Padre Miguel Hidalgo followed by Padre José María Morelos once Hildalgo was defeated. Then Agustín de Iturbide defeated Padre Morelos.

    The South American Revolution began because Simon Bolivar declared independence from Spain in 1811. Bolivar led the spanish armies and soldiers to each country and won each country's independence. Simon Bolivar and Jose de San Martin met in Ecuador and led the revolutions together.
