I was born on August 2,1964. I was the first daughter for my parents. And the second grandchild for my grandparents.

My parents took me to Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.

It was fun.It was another world. I had new friends.Where I taked in Spanish and English.

My parents dicide to send me back alone to Puerto Rico. They can after three month. I started Elementary school at Carolina ,Puerto Rico. It was Fifth grade. I had problem with spanish, I did not know how to read spanish.

Wao. I felt big, I am in intermediate. I feel good because I could help my friends in english and they could help me in spanish.

I started High School in 1980 and finish in 1983. They were good years. Their were parties and parties, but my parents did not let me go.

I went to the Caribbean University. I wanted to be a teacher. I had problems in the spanish classes. I had to take tutoring.

I got married on February 14, 1986. My husbands name is Felix Ferri .

It was my first daughter. I talked to her in spanish and english.
That helped her in her school days. -
It was a baby Boy. A little boy in my arms he was very little.I liked to sing to him baby songs in english and spanish.

I started to work at Jose Severo Quinones school. Giving all the classes. I did not give english class. My daughter had to help me to give good knowelge in spanish. i took classes from her.

This is the first time I began to be a bilingual teacher. It was a challenge for me . But never impossible. I began with nothing. I bought books an I felt great.

I have my 4th grade bilingual group. I teach all the classes in english. Math -Science-SocialStudies-English

I began to study at Sagrado Corazon at Hato Rey. It was in the summer at July, 11 days . It was cool. My teachers were great special Mrs.Emma. I learned alot. We had to talk english, well practice more english.
