I became an Aunt
I became an Aunt at such a young age. My sister had her first baby shortly after I was born. We have the same dad but differant mom. This was an exciting time for my dad because he got to meet his first grandchild, and I was brought into the world. From a young age my parents expected me to be a great Aunt for my nephew. We grew up together abd are still very close. -
First day of School
I started school where i met some of the greatest friends. One of these friends became my best friend throughout my childhood. Her name is Ellyse. she taught me many things and I was able to learn so much from her. My parents pushed me to do well in school and wanted the best for me.
During this time Microsoft announced that they will invest 150 million dollars in Apple Computer Inc. -
First Dog
I got my first dog. His name was luckyy and he was such a wonderful dog. My parents got me this dog and I was expected to take care of him. This helped me learn responsability. During this time the United States released their decision in Bush v. Gore -
Dance
I started taking dance classes. I took tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. This was a great hobby for me. My parents were so important because they made it happen. If it werent for them I wouldnt have been able to take all these classes. I met many friends who I still know today. Dancing taught me how I could express my emotions in many ways other than just speaking.
During this time an earthquake in El Salvador killed atleast 400 people. -
9/11
This tragedy took place and changed everyones life. There was much sadness that took over the world and my parents were there to talk to me and tell me how to handle situations like this. -
Began Highschool
I started highschool which was so exciting. My parents were a great support system throughout my highschool career. I was being pushed by them to get good grades so that I could continue my education after I graduated. Hurican Dean makes its first appearance with winds at 165 mph. -
Joined Cheer and Key Club
This was a wonderful oppurtunity I took. During key club and cheer I had a wonderful teacher who led both of these. She taught me so much and to never give up. My parents were so happy joined these extra curricular activities and didnt want me to ever quit.
During this time Oj Simpson was found guilty. -
Graduation
I graduated highschool which was a great accomplishment. My parents and other family members were a huge part of this. Everyone was so prou. My parents expected me to continue my education afterwards.
During this time the 46th anual country music awards took place. -
ASU
I began to further my education here at ASU. it was wonderful to be the first person in my family to go to college. My friends and family were a huge part of this achievement. My parents expected me to do the best I could and be successful.
During this time the 28th MTV awards took place. -
Boyfriend
My boyfriend and I became official, He is truely such a blessing in my life. He continues to push me to reach for my dreams and be successful. He supports me in everything I do and is honestly the most amazing boyfriend anyone could ever ask for. My parents love him and are just as happy as I am.
During this time 44 people were killed in a prison brawl in Mexico. -
First Internship
I began my first internship in a Kinder classroom. This was the best thing that could happen for me. I was able to get experiance from my mentor teacher, who was a huge part of this event, and I was able to interact with the children each week. I formed strong relationships with each child as well as my mentor teacher. I couldnt have had a better experiance. My parents were so proud of me and expected me to continue to be successful.
During this time 80 people are killed in a wave of insurgency -
Second Internship
I was finally placed in my second internship. I will be working with preschool aged children with special needs. I could not be more excited and happy to have this oppurtunity. My parents are so happy and they are a huge part of this accomplishment too.
During this time many people are being dropped from unemployment benifits until congress passes an act.
