  • Food choice

When I was a very small human being, about 6 months, my parents fed me a ton of apple sauce. This could very well be a habituation that causes me to now hate apple sauce and foods of very soft texture.
  • First words

    First words
At about one year of age, I began using my favorite word, uppy. Whenever I wanted my parents to pick me up I would simply say, "uppy". This showed that I was entering the productive language stage of language development, where I could start producing words. The picture shows me dressed up as another one of my favorite words, "clowey"
  • 3rd Birthday

    3rd Birthday
On my 3rd birthday, a decent amount of my extended family came to help me celebrate, the overwhelming stranger anxiety caused me to cry and eventually throw up all over my cake. The picture does not have to do with this date. The picture was taken at a time where I was so tired that I kept swaying and falling asleep while still sitting up.
  • Success in sports

When I was 7 years old I found out I had made the travel baseball team that I had dreamed of being on. This accomplishment made all the hard work seem worth it, and made me feel competent in the Industry vs. Inferiority state of Erik Erickson's psychosocial development.

During my sister Theresa's graduation, when I was 9 years old, I was asked to take a picture with her, by agreeing to take the picture, I was showing that I was in the Conventional Morality Level of Kohlberg's Levels of moral development. I chose to uphold the rules of not complaining from my mother in order to gain her approval.

  • Height

    Height
When I was 12 years old I suddenly grew 5 inches. This most likely dealt with the hormonal changes I was going through throughout my physical development
  • Facial Hair

When I was 13 years old my dad taught me how to shave for the first time with a razor. The growth of facial hair were some of the physical changes I experienced from adolescence.
  • Teenage Identity

    Teenage Identity
When I was 16, After 3 years within the LZFB program, I had found a large part of who I was and the group of guys that I would identify myself with for the greater part of high school. This displays me in the Identity vs. Role Confusion stage of Erik Erickson's Psychosocial Development.
  • The Endzone

    The Endzone
When I was 17, I returned to Stevenson High School for a track meet. The first thing I did when I got there was sit in the spot where I tore my meniscus the previous September. As I sat there I thought about what could've happened had I not gotten hurt. This hypothetical thinking is a part of the formal operational thinking of Piaget's Stages of Cognitive Development.
