    Henry gained Aquitaine (Land) from marrying Eleanor then, Later after Henry died, his son John lost the Aquitaine and Normandy to a war. The GASPIRE significance to this is Geographical because from this marriage came a lot of land from both Henry and Eleanor (like Aquitaine).

    Henry sent royal judges to every part of England at least once a year. They collected taxes, settled lawsuits, and punshed crimes. Also introduced the use of jury in English courts. The GASPIRE significance to this is social because it involved the people of the king and how it affects them majorly becuase the Common Law settles thier issues with a jury.

    Document drawn up by the English nobles and reluctantly approved by King John, which garanteed certain political rights to the people. The GASPIRE significance to this is Political becuase it involved political rights and the relationships and boundaries between the government and the people including the shifts in power.

    Edward I needed to raise taxes for a war against the French , the Welsh, and the Scots so he recruited lords and knights to serve as a parliament. The GASPIRE significance is economic because it involves taxes and money being traded between the king and the people.

    Changing of the Parliament

    The King called the knights and burgesses whenever a new tax was needed. In the Parliament, these two groups gradually formed an assembly of thier own called the House of Commons. Under Edward I, Parliament was a royal tool that weakened the great lords. Time went by and the Parliament became strong. The GASPIRE significance is Artistic becuase it involved the beliefs and structure of Edwards I House of Commons.
