  • The Day I Was Born

    The Day I Was Born
The day i was born was quite an eventful one. I was born about a month and a half yearly because there was something wrong with my kidney. Right after i was born, i had to go through an immediate surgery. My parents would always be telling me stories about how right after the surgery they were terrified. How there were tubes sticking i n and out of me and how i was so small. Although i was just born, and i don't even remember this moment in the slightest bit, it had a huge influence on my life.
  • Twin Brothers being born

    Twin Brothers being born
I was about 3 years old. Although i was young i still remember bits and pieces of this day. First i don't even remember what was going on, but i remember showing up at the hospital with a bag of mcdonald's french fries in my hands. I remember walking in and seeing to very small humans to the right of me in these small beds with these glass barriers. My mom and my dad to the right laying on the bed to the left. Before i knew it i was an older brother. Before i knew it, i was helping raise them.
  • Starting Baseball

    Starting Baseball
This was around the time I first started to play baseball. I was 5 and to be honest i really didn't know what baseball was. But my father did it, and when he asked me if i wanted to do it i said yes. My grandpa was also encouraging me because he was a huge fan of watching baseball and wanted to see his grandson play. I was so young but i remember the first time meeting the team and picking up the bat was very special to me. Baseball has taught me a lot about being part of a team and working hard
  • First Football game

    First Football game
We were at kellys and i was wit my best friend and his dad. He was the coach for the team so he got me to want to play. After i signed up and went through a few weeks of practice i was ready for my first game. I remember the team being a very dark blue color and i remember everyone on my team all nervous. I was thinking about what i had to do and be honest i was hoping that i didn't do anything to get hurt. I remember losing that game but the experience was still great. I have played every year.
  • My Confirmation

    My Confirmation
This was a pretty big day for everyone who is catholic. Their first confirmation. All of the years of going to school to study the religion i wont lie got very boring. When you are between the ages of 8 and 14, you are going every week and there were so many other things that you would rather do. But after you got through it and finally got to confirm felt very rewarding. All of the learning and time you had to put in up until this point was finally going to pay off. The Party after was also fun
  • First Day of High School

    First Day of High School
The first day of high school was very important to me. My whole life up until that point, everyone including my parents and my grandparents have been telling me that high school would be the best four years of my life. This got me thinking and i realized that i have to make everyday count and and don't waste any time doing the things that i wanted to do. At the beginning of high school, i haven't really paid much attention to school but later on i've started to care and hopefully succeed.
  • Starting Work

    Starting Work
I remember this like it was yesterday. I was a little nervous but i was also excited because i finally got the chance o make money. Everyone i knew had a job and was always talking about theres and how much it was awful but they also got to make money. It got me thinking that i should finally start. I apply the the italian restaurant down the road and my friend worked there, he put in the good word for me and i got the job. It isn't the best in the world, i finally got to see what work is like.
  • Playing An actual Game of basketball

Playing An actual Game of basketball
This is on here because it was probably one of the most fun experiences of my life. This was basketball for the really bad kids. It was no competitive at all and all people did here was have fun. I gathered a team of 7 friends and the goal was to have fun, and win as many games as you possibly could. There was a whole tournament and a prize if you win at the end but people really did not care about that. Playing all of these games with my closest friends is an experience that i will remember.
  • Getting my license

    Getting my license
This was probably the most nerve wracking experience of my life. All the preparation and hard work I've put into driving was finally going to pay off. I was also nervous because it was the beginning of summer and if i did not have my drivers license for the summer of my senior year i would have been upset. All of my friends also had theirs already so if i had failed it would have been quite embarrassing. At the end of the day, i drove 20 miles an hour and was so careful and ended up passing.
  • Being Able to Drive My First Car

Being Able to Drive My First Car
Going a couple days with my drivers license but without a car i started to get impatient. I haven't even gotten to drive a car myself yet. Both of my parents work and they need their cars to get around town so getting the car even for a short period of time was a challenge. I grew tired of it and like any other person i started to complain. Usually it doesn't work, but this time it did. My dad needed a new car anyway so he gave me his car with about 250,000 miles on it. I did not mind at all.
