I was so proud this day, I had worked so hard to be able to have a job that not only offered me benefits and support but gave me a purpose. Raising my daughter as a single parent has been one of the hardest things I have ever come up against in my life. From January of 2011, Leena and I have gone through a rollercoaster of emotions from her Dad deciding to no longer be in her life over 3 years ago. We are much stronger as a duo but we have both changed since everything has happened. We have both become more reserved and cautious.

Dementia or Alzheimers is something that scares me with cognitive changes. I have zero knowledge of my own health history from being adopted so I am unaware of whether or not this is something that is genetic for me.

Enjoying retirement hopefully with my life partner or husband (I don't have either yet) is how I'd like to see my days spent. Enjoying time with my family, hopefully grandchildren, and be able to give back with philanthropy as well as try new things that I've been meaning to in my life.
