Charles I and the Parliament were the main people involved in this event, it was put in place to restore traditional freedoms that had been violated by James I and Charles I. A result was if you refused the Parliament to finance the king's disliked foreign policy had caused his government to exact forced loans and to quarter troops in subjects' houses as an economy measure.

During this event Oliver Cromwell tries to take the power from Parliament and after this event the Barbone's Parliament came into play.

    This event was led after the death of Oliver Cromwell.This was the day when Cromwell’s Commonwealth was abolished and the monarchy was restored. As a result the Puritans lost control of the government. Charles II and Oliver Cromwell were the two main people involved in this event.

During this time period was a series of fights and the results was the replacement of James II by William and Mary, the Jacobite war in Scotland, the Williamite war in Ireland, the War with France, England joining Grand Alliance, and the drafting of the Bill of Rights.
