    King Louis XIV takes the Throne
    King Louis XIV takes the throne at the age of 5. Dubbed the "Sun King" becasue he was constantly surrounded by people. In 1674 while visiting a schoolat Clemont, He threw a child in the Bastille for commenting on his bald head. The child spent 69 years in the Bastille.

    The Tennis Court Oath was an pledge made by the members of the National Assembly after the King locked them out of an important meeting. The oath reaffirmed their commitment to the National Assembly.
