Treaty of Paris -The Treaty of Paris allows British Canada, all east of the Mississippi including Florida (from Spain).
-Spain gains New Orleans and all of French territory west of the Mississippi river (for Spain the French threat is gone).
-France has no mainland of North America and Spain and Britain are the main power on the continent. -

American Revolution -The thing that causes the American Revolution to begin is The Stamp Act, The Townshend Acts ,The Tea Act and the Boston Tea Party were some of the major causes for the American Revolution
- So because of the Revolution we declared our independence.
-The revolution had a strong impact on the thirteen colonies of America, Great Britain, Ireland and France. -

U.S. Declaration of Independence -The declaration was wrote by John Adams of Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson of Virginia, Robert R. Livingston of New York, and Roger Sherman of Connecticut.
-The declaration was signed by 56 different delegates .
-The declaration helped U.S. gain it's independence. -
French Revolution Begins

Louisiana Purchase
Louisiana purchase -French forced Spain to give back Louisiana and then sold the land to United States for 15 million dollars in 1803.
-The land deal was known as the Louisiana purchase doubling the size of the young nation. -
Cry of Delores
Cry of Dolores -The beginning of this is caused by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla a priest in Dolores and said "will you not defend your religion and rights as a true patriots". Which the statement was refer to the "Cry of Dolores". -
Green Flag (Gutierrez and Magree expedition
GUTIERREZ-MAGEE EXPEDITION -Gutierrez and Magree exedition was about when Gutierrez and Magree created a army of volunteers and invaded Texas in August 1812 and won.
-Gutierrez and Magree later marched to San Antonio and won aganist Spanishand took over the town. -
Battle of Medina
Battle of Medina -The battle of Medina composed of the United States army and Spanish.
-The U.S. came from the North while the Spanish came from South.
-Both Army clashed near Medina and the war began. Although the battle lasted for four hour and1000 rebels died the spanish won. -
James Long
James Long -James Long is a good known filibuster from Natchez, Mississippi.
James Long was one who was angry of the Adams Onis Treatyso he created a army.
-In 1819 he forced 120 invasions on Texas but failed but laterdied in his next invasion -

Coahuila y Texas
Coahuila y Texas -Coahuila y Texas is a state combining Texas and Coahuila it even has it's own immiigration policy .
-The small states capital is called Saltillo, located 50 miles southwest of Monterrey.
-The first Texas citizen worked there as a lawmaker is Baron de Bastrop.
-Coahuila y Texas passed a law there which is called State Colonization law of 1825 which was a settlementand immigration law. -
The “Old Three Hundred” Colony
The Old Three Hundred -The Old Three Hundred is a colony of 297 families and single mens.
-Most came from southern United States partly Louisiana. They were farmers, slaveholders.
-1790 colonist lived there about 440 people were African Americans. -
Imperial Colonization Law
Imperial Colonization Law -The Imperial Colonization Law was a law allowing all Mexican states to set its own coloization policies and created new restrictions. This law intended to encourage more immigration. -
Constitution of 1824
Constitution of 1824 -The Constitution of 1824 was a constitution similar to the constitution of the United States, gave unlimited power to the central goverment and local authority to the states. It also divided the power along three different branches.
