Birth of Jesus

The birth of Jesus allowed people to cleanse their sins if they accepted Christ. People were born again if they were Baptised. People brought his practices back to church. Jesus had a career of teaching and helping. Jesus was a Jew. Muslims think of Jesus as a prophet not a God. He was later crucified in Jerusalem, visited his disciples and went to heaven. -

Flight of Muhammad
The Flight of Muhammad was in Medina. The Region was SW Asia & the theme is movement. Muhammad set about building the followers of his religion Islam. He also spent nights in a cave in Mount Hira, North of Mecca. Muhammad had built a theocratic state and led raids on trading caravans from Mecca. However, he was then attacked by the Meccas. His people were raised in the centers of the civilization, and in highly cultures. He also encouraged his people and organized his community. -

They had 4 main armies & expanded territories over European countries. They did slaughter tons of innocent people however, they did some good things like spread knowledge, increased trade, & increased wealth & power of roman catholic church. -

The location of this event is Anatolia. The region is Central Asia & the theme is movement. This empire conquered the Arab Provinces. However, it starts to lose power between 1700s to 1800s so they hunt for new territory to conquer & begin with Great Britain, France, Russia & Egypt.They also retain control over Balkans in early 1900s & most of Arab world until 1918. Their land were dispersed to allied powers. This includes Great Britain & France on the losing side of World War I. -

The location & region of this event is all over the Middle East & the theme is movement. There was a French invasion in Europe. Napoleon had the best military & wanted to destroy British trade with Middle East. So he captures Alexandria with his 35,000 troops & leads his soldiers across desert. They then fought the Turks in Syria & Napoleon leaves his troops in Egypt and returns to France. Also, Algeria was France's 1st colony in NA, so France makes the colonists into model french citizens. -
Creation of Israel
The location of this event is Levant. The region is E Mediterranean & the theme is movement. The British Defeat Ottoman empire in World war I & took control of Palestine. In 1917 the British gov. issued the Balfour declaration. They wanted Palestine to be the national home for Jewish people however, Arabs attacked the Jews because they disagreed. So the British decided to split Palestine into two states one Jewish and the other Arab. The Arabs rejected it and decided to invade a new nation.
