Uthman was assassinated by Egyptian rebels who snuck into his house and stuck his head with a sword and his wife had some of her fingers chopped off while trying to protect him. Also his slave ended up killing one of the assassinators ,but the ended up getting killed him self. His two other slaved jumped on his body so they would do anything then the assassinators looted the house and got out before the guards could do anything.
