    Marie Antoinette was the last queen of France who was known for throwing parties. She was the archduke of Austria. When she married King Louis XVl she became queen. She was highly not liked by the people.

    King Louis XVl called on estate generals to vote on who should pay taxes. The third estate got out voted and ended paying all taxes. The third estate then formed the National Assembly. Source=notes.

    After the third estate lost the vote and created the national assembly they tried to meet. The door was locked and so they met in a tennis court and pledged not to stop meeting until France had a new constitution.     The guillotine was created by Antoine Louis. Joseph Ignance Guillotin made it popular and it was named after him. It was a tool for execution, it was fast and humane.

    Death of King Louis XVl
    King Lois XVl was executed for trying to escape and was a traitor. As a result Austria, Prussia, Spain, Portugal, Britain, and the Dutch Republic declare war on France and invade. If France lost the revolution would fail and the absolute monarchy would be restored. Source=notes.
