    The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, died in Medina on June 8th 632 AD from a high-fever. Muhammad fell ill, suffering from head pains and a high fever and eventually succumbed to this illness, dying in his wife, Aisha's, arms.

    The First Caliph : Abu Bakr

    1.His daughter was married to Prophet Muhammed.
    2.During his reign, Wars of estopasy began (revolts).
    3.His expedition were sent from Medina to Syria, Iraq and Persia.
    4.He was also known for using his wealth to buy and set slaves free.
    5.He fought the Battle of Yamma in 633.

    1.Known as the architect of the Arab Muslim Empire.
    2. As second caliph (khalīfa) he organized the Islamic conquests and the administration of the empire.
    3. It was during ʾUmar's caliphate that Muslim religious and political institutions arose which were to be the model for future generations.
    4. The dīwān (‘stipend register’), a form of welfare state by which annual stipends were paid to all Muslims from the public treasury
    5.He got assasinated in Medinah.

    1.He married the Prophet Muḥammad's daughters, Rukaiya and Umm Kulthum.
    2. He was consequently accused of nepotism and corruption.
    3.It was during his time that Islamic conquests reached their peak, bringing with them novel problems of the relation between the original community
    4.ʿUthmān's circulation of the official edition of the Quran, precipitated a chain of events that led to his assassination
    5.Opposition to Uthmān came to be represented the figures of Aisha (Prophet's favourite wife).

    1.Abu Talib also was chief of the clan of Hashim of the tribe of Quraysh in Mecca.
    2.He migrated to medina in 622, and married Fatima (muhammed's daughter).
    3.Ali took part in most of the military expeditions sent out by Mohammed.
    4.Ali's figure caught the popular imagination and a political party was formed around him and his descendants. This is the Shiite or Shia.
    5.He was a devoted muslim but was not a good politician.
