First Crusade 1096-1099

Expedition led mostly by French. They defeaTED Turks, captured the Anitoch and took over Jerusalim.

Second crusdae 1147-1149

Feb 28, 1147

Muslims captured Endessa. French munk called for crusade. The crusade failed after a short period.

Third Crusade 1187-1192

Mar 3, 1187

Saladin Planned to capture Jerusalim for Muslims. Ennded when King Richard made a truce with Saladin.

Fourth Crusade 1202-1204

Mar 3, 1202

Pope innocent III brought back Pope Urban II's plan to fight against Muslims. Made main attack point Egypt to allow transportation over Mediterraniam.

Childerns Crusade

To groups of children fight for jeruslalim led by Stephen of Cloyes who is supposevely 12 years old. It ended up being a disaster.

5th Crusade 1215-1221

Mar 3, 1215

Leopold VI and Andrew II were the oly to participate. Obtained Damietta, but lost at Al-Mansura, so they were forced to return it.

6th Crusade 1228-1244

Mar 3, 1228

Led by Holy Emperer Federick II. Ended with a peace agreement and christians took most of the Holy Places.

7th Crusade 1248-1254

Mar 3, 1248

French crusade led Bu Louis IX to gain muslim control over Egypt. Ended up disasterously failing.

8th Crusade 1267-1272

Mar 3, 1267

Louis IX holds another crusade, but later dies. His brother takes over and the crusade ended.
