    Richard The Lionheart lead the Third Crusade, winning many Saladin territories but failing to win back Jerusalem.

    The Fourth Crusade

    Pope Innocent III declares the Fourth Crusade to take back Jerusalem.
  • 1212

    Childrens Crusade

    A French child named Stephen of Cloyes got tens of thousands of children to gather and march to the Holy Land. None of the children made it to the Holy Land.
