Ten Life Milestones

  • Senior

    After I finish paying off my mortgage, I plan on saving up for the property tax I will have to pay until I no longer live.I estimated an amount of $300, a total of $3,600 a year. I plan on using my retirement money for this.
  • Youth (1-17)

    Once senior year begins, and even before senior year in high school, mostly every teen girl awaits her prom day to look and feel glamorous and it's something that I have been waiting for for years. If I start saving up about $125 every month for prom, I will be able to reach the estimated cost of $1,000.
  • Young Adult (18-24)

    Every young adult wants to feel independent and have their own car once they get their license, as do I. If I am able to save up $1,000 every year for the next two years, with the help of my prarents, I will be able to buy a nonexpensive used car for $2,000.
  • Adult (25-40)

    My college education will be very expensive, therefore I know saving up to pay off loans is the best thing to do. With the help of my parents and investments, I hope to save up to 13,333 every year to pay off the estimated amount of $80,000.

    After graduating college, I hope to rent my own apartment bcause I don't want to move back in with my famil. I want to rent it within the price range of $1,000 monthly. Th yearly cost will be $24,000.

    I have always dreamed of having a nice fairytale wedding, but it is very costly. I chose the price range of $30,000. I plan on saving up for this within 5v years with the help of my partner. The yearly amount would have to be $6,000.

    I would love to have a home to allow myself all the benefits that come along with it such as tax deductions.The mortgage I estimated was $1,200 monthly, for a total of 14,400 yearly. I plan on paying this with my husband's help.

    I would love to have children at this point in my life and I don't think it's something that's actually planned, but if I were to plan it, I would start saving about $13,888 a year with the help of my husband to be able to reach the average cost of $250,000 for 18 years.

    Starting off early with saving for retiremnt is something that now may be a struggle, but it will pay off in the end. If I start saving 2,121.67 once I am 18, every year for the next 47 years, I will reach my goal of $100,000 and this does not include the investments I will eventually make.

    As I will ot be working, I hope to be able to travel and go on vacations. I would like to save up a total of $4,000, 2,000 every year for two years.I may take out a small loan to help.
