    Hidalgo was one of the central figures who was targeted for arrest after someone from their group betrayed them. They immediatly informed Hidalgo who was in Queretaro at the time.

    After Hidalgo heard the news, he had no choice but to act. He encouraged people to revolt and had an effective response from the crowd of Mestizos and Indians. This crowd became this mob of people ready to revolt.

    This was a battle between Trujillo and the massive mob, and the battle lasted all day. Hidalgo sent emissaries to try and get the royalists to surrender which resulted in their death.

    Also known as the plan of three guarantees, during the final stage of the Mexican independence. It stated that Mexico should become a constitutional monorchy whose only religion would be Roman Catholicism and the people of Mexico would enjoy equal and political social rights.
