1889, my brother and I board a ship to start our journey to the United States. There is a huge storm on the way there, the weather is nasty the whole journey.
The ride was uncomfortable. There were really weird people on the ship. I felt like somebody was watching me the whole time.

Arrival

My brother and I arrive in America. My Brother and I went looking for a house to rent out. We stayed in a hotel until we found one. The hotel was a very nice hotel. They Provided breakfast in the morning and the rooms had two queen beds and a bathroom.

find a house

My brother and I finally find a house that we can rent out thatFits the both of us. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attic.
The rooms are nice size and both of the bedrooms have a queen bed, and a sofa.

looking for a job

I go looking for a job to try and get more money to support our house. I am interested in working in a meat packing industry. I found a factory named, "the meat works."
I went in and applied for a job. I got accepted but I was not able to start until December 1st.
I will get paid 9$ an hour and be provided with discounts off any meats that I purchase from our factory.

I start working. The factory is really nice! The meat slicers are clean and the packaging is sealed nice. The meat should stay good for around three weeks. The people I work with are great, I made a couple of new friends today. My boss is Great! He called me in today and asked me how I was liking the job. I love this job.
