The Quraish realized what was going on, and sought out to stop him from leaving Makkah by sending people to kill him. The prophet told Ali to stay in his bed while he left at dawn. The Quraisy then offered 100 camels to someone who can find him. The prophet hid in a cave & they were about to be exposed when a spider created a web at the entrance so that it seems like no one entered.

    Building of The Madinaa Mosque
The first task to which the Prophet Muhammad attended on his arrival in Madinah was the construction of a Mosque, in the very site where his camel knelt down. The land, which belonged to two orphans, was purchased. The Prophet himself contributed to building the Mosque. The ground was cleared, The Qiblah was constructed to face Jerusalem; two beams were also erected to hold the ceiling up. It was square in form, each side measuring approximately 100 yards, facing towards the north.

    Battle of Badr
The Battle of Badr took place in the blessed month of Ramadaan in the 2nd year after the Hijrah. It was the first battle with the pagans after the muslims moved to Madinah. In this battle the pagan army consisted of 950 fighters and the muslim army consisted of 314 (including the Messenger) fighters only, so they were outnumbered 3 to 1. However, the muslims won in the end. 70 pagans met their death, and the Muslims took from them 70 prisoners. This was a great victory for the Muslims.

    Battle of the Trench

    Battle of the Trench
The battle happened 5 years after Hijra. The Qurasyh were unsatisfied because they did not kill the Prophet (SAW) in the Battle of Uhud. They came together with Banu Nadheer & planned to attack the Muslims. The Qurasyh & their allies exceeded 10,000 men while the Muslims had 3,000. When the Muslims knew about this, the Prophet held a meeting to see what they should do & Salman Al-Farisee suggested that they built a trench at the border of Madinaa. Qurasyh & its allies then surrendered.
