    Leaving Makkah

    Leaving Makkah
    The Prophet (PBUH) left Makkah on this date due to him fearing that he would be killed by the Quraysh. He had heard that the Quraysh were plotting to kill him by stabbing him in the night. So he told all the followers to leave and migrate to Madinah while he waited until he was given orders by Allah to leave. Once he was told to leave he went on his camel with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq.

    Creating the Prophet's Mosque

    Creating the Prophet's Mosque
    When the Prophet (PBUH) arrived in Madinah he wanted to create a mosque like the one in Quba. So he had his she-camel walk until she stopped and he decided to build his mosque there because he believed Allah willed the camel to go there. The mosque was created with three doors, Bab Rahmah, Bab Jibril and Bab Al-Nisa. The mosque has the 2nd highest reward for praying in.

    Battle of Badr

    Battle of Badr
    This was the first large battle between the Quraysh and the Muslims. Badr is a well that is located around 80 kilometers away from Madinah. The Muslims went with an army of 314 while the Quraysh had 1000. The end result was that the Muslims won and they killed 70 Quraysh members and captured 70 of them while only losing 14 of their own men. This was considered a major victory and the Quraysh went back angry.

    Expulsion of Banu Qaynuqa

    After the Battle of Badr, the Muslims and Banu Qaynuqa had a dispute. A Muslim women was embarrased by a Jewish trader when she was at the market and cried for help. A Muslim man came and killed him and was shortly killed later by the Jewish men around there. The Prophet (PBUH) arrived and demanded they pay blood money. They did not agree and they were required to leave Madhinah immeaditely. The had to leave all their things behind and moved out of Madinah.

    Battle of Uhud
    The battle of Uhud was the 2nd battle between the Muslims and the Quraysh. It was held at near the Mountain of Uhud someways out of Madinah. The Muslims were 1000 at first but an Ayah from Allah came down and told for the fake believers to leave so they were only left with 700. The Quraysh, led by Abu Sufiyan, had 3000 men marching towards the Muslims. The Prophet commanded some of his archers to stand ready on a mountain so they were not flanked from behind.

    Battle of Uhud Continued
    Once the Muslims were winning the fight the archers moved away from their post even though they were told not to. Khalid Ibn Waleed seeing this got his horsemen to flank the remaining archers from behind and encourage the Quryash to come back and fight. This led to the Muslims losing the fight and required to retreat.

    Expulsion of Banu Nadir

    Shortly after the loss at Uhud, the leader of Banu Nadir challenged Muhammad (PBUH) for the leadership of Madinah. Later in the year two Muslims were killed and he demanded blood money. The jews refused to pay it and instead plotted to kill the Prophet (PBUH). Muhammad found out about this and laid a siege around thier fortress. It lasted for 14 days and they were later expelled with only a few belonging and 600 camels. This became the 2nd Jewish Tribe to leave Madinah.

    This was the final major battle to happen between the Muslims and the Quraysh. The Quraysh were plotting with other tribes who hated Muhammad to make an army and kill him. He found out about this and called a council to discuss tactics. Salman Al Farsi suggested they build a trench and they agreed. A trench was built around most of Madinah to protect it. When the Quraysh came they brought 10000 men while the Muslims only had 3000. The Confederate sieged for 27 days but eventually lost to a trick

    Meanwhile, Banu Qurayza were the last remaining Jewish tribe in Madinah. The Confederates convinced them to join their side and they agreed. When word got out their was lots of disrupt since the Muslims got scared. So the Prophet (PBUH) took 500 men to go and protect the city at all time to stop an attack from behind. Meanwhile, a leader Nuaym Ibn Masud came and became Muslim. The Prophet told him to keep it secret and to cause disrupt in the armies. He went to the leaders and told rumours.

    He went to all the leaders and started telling them rumours about what would happen once they won. This caused massive disrupt and Abu Sufiyan got very mad. Eventually, the other tribes retreated and finally the Quraysh left because they were being starved to death due to the harsh weather. This is how the Muslims finally won the battle because they were protected from the wind.

    Expulsion of Banu Qurayza

    After the Prophet found out that the Banu Qurayza had betrayed him, he was told by Angel Jibril to go and get rid of them and not to rest after the war. So he went there and told them that all the men would be killed since they plotted to kill Muhammad (PBUH). So all the men were killed except for a few who had found out not to be part of the plot. All but one women was killed because she killed a Muslim and the children were all spared. This is how the final Jewish tribe was expelled.

    2 years after the treaty was signed a tribed allied with the Quraysh broke an agreement in the treaty in which they attacked a Muslim tribe, and they Quryash agreed with their decision. The Prophet (PBUH) was deeply angered by this and marched with an army of 10,000 men to Makkah and took it over. The leader of Makkah had no choice but to surrender so not a single person was killed in the conquest. The Prophet (PBUH) forgave all of them and many converted. This is how Makkah was returned.
  • Hudaybiyyah Continued

    The Muslims were all angered that such terms were put but the Prophet agreed because he knew better. After the treaty was agreed the Muslims came back to Madinah and waited till the next year to do Tawaf. In the meantime letters were sent to the big leaders in the world to inform them of Islam and lots of them converted from a single letter that was sent. This is how the treaty helped since no war meant the Prophet had more time to work.

    At this time the Prophet had a dream that he was perfoming Tawaf around the Kabah so he told his men that he required them to go to Makkah to perform this. Him and 1400 other Muslims marched peacefully there but the Quryash didn't want them to enter. They made a treaty that showed little respect to Muslims. It said that all Quraysh must be returned if they convert now but Muslims will be kept. Also no war will happen for 10 years between them. Finally, they have to come back next year to perform
