    Getting out of the House was very hard for the Prophet (SAW) as Abu Jahl had picked out men from different tribes to kill the Prophet (SAW). So he gave his cloak to Ali (RA) and told him to lie down on the bed so that people would think it's Muhammad (SAW). Then Muhammad (SAW) went to Abu Bakr (RA), and they started their journey to Yathrib. On the way to Yathrib, they hid in a desert hill where Asma bint Abu Bakr would bring them food.

    On the 12th of Rab'i Al Awwal, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companion Abu Bakr (RA) finally arrived in the outskirts of Madinah, a place called Quba'. The Prophet (SAW) built a masjid in Quba' called Masjid Quba' and this is the first mosque in Islam. The Prophet (SAW) said: "He who purifies himself at his home and comes to Masjid Quba' and offers two rakahs therein, will be rewarded the reward of an Umrah (lesser pilgrimage)."[Sunan ibn Majah].

    In the city of Madinah, different tribes lived in there and Prophet Muhammad made a constitution for the whole community. Banu Qaynuqaa is a Jewish tribe in Madeenah. One day a Jewish man tried to take the Muslim woman's veil off so she was crying for help, then a Muslim man came and killed the jew. Later, Jews killed the Muslim man as revenge. Revenge killings went on and on after that between the two tribes.

The Prophet (SAW) set up an army of 700 fighters to defend Madeenah. In this battle, the Muslims lost 70 fighters including Hamza, and Musab ibn Umayr (RA).

    The Muslim tribe and the Quraysh had an agreement called the treaty of Hudaybiyyah. Two years later there was a violation of the agreement. One of the tribes allied with the Meccans attacked and killed some members of a tribe allied with the Muslims. "This day no reproach shall be on you. God will forgive you; He is the Most Merciful of the Merciful. You can go away!"
