    In these times people like the Gonzalez brothers, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez and Juan de Aldama were meeting to plan the initiation and organize how the wars for Independecne would work. This literary club was very important because they were the ones making the blue prints for the wars. The image represents the thinkig going on from people who wanted Mexican independence.

    Criollo officers who had refused the movement and a Priest who got the info from a confession went to the Spanish to tell them about the revolutionaty plans. This event was important because it was when the Spanish figured out of the plans and if Doña Josefa hadn't told Aldama to tell Hidalgo it would've never worked and maybe today we would still be owned by Spaniards!

    Messengers inform father Hidalgo of realizations (Initiation)
    Doña Josefa sent Ignacio Perez to tell Father Hidalgo who was in Dolores about the discoveries from the Spanish government of the revolutionary plans. Ignacio Perez went to Juan de Aldama who was the one who informed father Hidalgo. This was a very important event because it was what gace father Hidalgo the heads up to start the movement before planned.

    When Hidalgo was heading to Guanajuato there were a lot of people following him so the Spanish soldiers saw them and started shooting at them but they fought back. The Gachupines lost and were taken dead throoughout the city to a nearby cementery. This was very important because it was what informed Mexico and Spanish that the mexicans were coming in hard

    The Battle of Monte de las Cruces (Resistance)
    This battle had plenty of importance since it was where the Mexicans really demonstrated what they were made of and who they were dealing with. In this anticipated battle the professional army of the Spanish was defeated and had to retreat thanks to the huge army of Hidalgo.

    Calleja caught up with Hidalgo and Allende just outside of Guadalajara. Hidalgo's army was way much bigger than Calleja's army but the Spanish were trained profesionally and the Mexican's weren't. They were fighting bitterly until they stuck to a stalemate which was when a lucky Spanish bomb hit a Mexican artillery truck and made a huge explosion that caused the Mexicans to scatter all over. This was very importnat because it was of the first defeats the Mexicans had and it caused separation!

    Firing Squad VS. Hidalgo (Consolidation)
    Finding father Hidalgo guilty of treason and other reasons at the dawn of July 31, 1811 he was decapitated by a firing squad. His head was displayed at a pole in Guanajuato later. This event was of massive importance since it was when the leader and the starter of the whole independence was killed!

    Jose María Morelos Captured (Consolidation)
    Morelos, the succesor of Hidalgo, was captured by the Spanish, escorted to Mexico City, and then viciously killed by a firing squad just as Hidalgo. This times were really important times because Mexicans were losing a lot of battles and the Spanish were regaining territories fastly.

    The "Plan de Iguala" (Consummation)
    This plan was proposed by the Mexicans to start wrapping up how they would end independent and why. This Plan de Iguala was pretty efficient and importnant since it provided with the three things: Unity, religion. and equity. it also provided with the "Ejercito Trigarante" which was the one, lead by Iturbide, that would finish with the Spanish.

    FINALLY! AFTER YEARS AND YEARS OF FIGHTING! Independence was reached by the Mexicans and Spanish signing a treaty made in the "Plan de Iguala". In the treaty of Córdoba, where O'Donojú and Iturbide signed they signed what was pruposed in the "Plan de Iguala" with the three guarantees. This was pretty important since Mexico was finally indpendent!
