  • Haitian revolution

    Haitian revolution
    the Haitian revolution began in august 21 1791 and ended in Jan 1 1804.The French captured and enslaved thousands of Haitian slaves by the late 1780's. by Aug 21, 1791 the Haitian slaves planned a coordinated attack on the northern part of France. Landowners would die, slaves would fight with them or die if they did not join. It even got to the point where Britain and Spain forces would ally with them as well In 1794. By 1804, slavery was banned and Haiti became an independent state.

    This movement started on 1810 to 1825. Simon bolivar led the south American independence movement. He freed a few states in south America from Spanish rule. he had a few allies to help him. a few other people later, sprang up to help the revolution and free south America from Spanish rule. This was later successful and people from south America were freed from the control under Spanish rule.

    Mexican revolution
    The Mexican revolution went from September 16 1810 to 1821. Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla declared independence in the town of Dolores. Hidalgo amassed a large but unruly army of children, women, the elderly, and livestock to revolt against the Spanish rule. The revolution was quickly subdued, and many of the members went back to work in their fields. Hidalgo was beheaded for revolting against the government. people later joined a movement to free Mexico from Spanish rule and it worked

    This revolution lasted from September 15, 1821 to 1826. in 1821, central America gained its independence from Spain but it didn't last long because the region was absorbed by Mexico. Agustin de Iturbide freed central America from Spain.

    The Brazilian revolution lasted from 1820 - 1822. The Brazilian Revolution of 1820-1822 Lisbon and Oporto wasn't a revolt by the common people-like most of the revolutions of Latin America-but rather the nobility. They wanted freedom from the Portuguese. It was a constitutional revolt to throw the Portuguese colony out of Brazil. This revolution led to the Constituent Assembly’s-also known as 'The Cortes'-meeting and deciding to create the first constitution of the Kingdom
