The reason I decided to go back to taking piano lessons was becuase I had my heart set on being a music teacher. This is a career I am still pursuing as a college student today.

During this time, I was facing some challenging obstacles in my life. Questions began to arise like: 1) Is being a teacher really what I want to do with my life? 2) Why am I finding my passion for singing slowly being torn out of me? 3) Piano performance sounds like a great idea, because of my new found love of the instrument so what should I do now?

I learned more about piano in these few months of summer than I ever thought possible! What a life-changing experience.

It took a re-submission before the follow verdict came in positive for me. This was a finger-nail biter and with other uncertainties piling up, what was I to do if the latter occured.
God was watching over me and he helped me to accomplish this small feat--being accepted into the Professional Education Program (PEP). -
My senior voice recital is a go! Time to jump for joy!!!!!!

I'm ready to go out with a bang! With the completion of this recital, I will have completed my applied voice requirments. Next challenge up to the plate, becoming a competent, confident, and admirable pianist.
