The first original date for the uprising was set for December 8th in 1810, this is later changed.

News about the conspiracy is leaked by a post man, Spaniards find out and arrest Epigmenio Gonzalez in his house. Joseefa Ortiz alert the other conspiracists that they've been discovered and tells them the attack needs to be earler.

Hidalgo starts the movement when he rang the church bells late at night and puts them to fight, inspires them by using the Virgin of Guadalupe, they later on take the city of San Miguel de Allende.

Juan Jose de los Reyes Martinez led and set fire to the entrance of a fortress. Massive numbers of Spaniards were killed, then there's the legend of Pipila that said that he carried a rock on.

Rebels marched towards Mex. City, they defeatd the Spaniards in Monte de las Cruces. Hidalgo retreated instead of attacking on towards Mexico City, this cost the independence movement 10 years.

Felix Calleja & Miguel Hidalgo defeat the insurgents in Jalisco.

Hidalgo is captured in Texas. He is convicted and found guilty of heresy and treason, and later on killed.

"Middle" phase of the Mexican Independence. During this period Morelos takes over, creates a Constitution and then is killed by Spaniards.

Morelos takes over after Hidalgo is dead, by then the people were discouraged and then he made a small army that relied on guerilla. Met for a congress in ´Chilpancingo in 1813 where they declared independence and formulated rules for the constitution.

Calleja enters the circle of Mex. City. They make the constitution in Apatzingan, but it wasn't effective. Morelos was later captured in 1815 and executed.

Third stage of the Mexican Independence. Guerilla fighting led by Victoria and Guerrero. Vicreoy Apodaca finally gave an official pardon to the guerilla members.

Plan de Iguala is created and accepted by the Viceroy, end of the Mexican Independence.

Plan de Iguala is issued and states that Mexico had Catholicism as it one religion and that creoles and penisulares would be equal. Ejercito de las Tres Garantias made to reinforce these clauses

The Plan de Iguala meats its goal and is widely accepted, the viceroy recognizes the Mexican Independence. Iturbide came out as the "leader" in the end, leading to his emperorship.
