    Miguel Hidalgo helped the Natives grow things. When the Spanish found out about this, they destroyed the crops. He knew the Natives would always be poor unless the Spanish left. Miguel decided to do something about it. Miguel called for the Natives to overthrow the Spanish. Miguel gave the speech titled 'The Cry Of Dolores'. He kept giving the speech in towns going towards Mexico City. When Miguel got to Mexico City, he had 90,000 Natives and the Spanish only had 6,000 men. They lost.
