    Start of the Haitian Revolution
    During this time France had colonized what today is known as Haiti, enslaving many Africans to work on plantations. During this time a revolt was staged by 100,000 slaves against the French due to the foul treatment of the enslaved, and inspiration from hearing news of the English colonies gaining independence. Soon after formally enslaved man in form of Toussaint L'Ouverture(Shown above) rose as the general of the Haitian revolution. With the help his trusty lieutenant Jean-Jacques Dessalines

    End of the Haitian Revolution
    This revolution was fought against the French as stated earlier, for infringing upon the rights of the Slaves. Causing the Haitian revolution, which was a bloody hard fought path to freedom. Which eventually on 1/1/1804 ended; with General Dessalines declares the French colony an independent country. Becoming the first black colony to free itself from European control.

    Start of the Mexican Revolution
    Unlike the other revolutions this one was more diverse than the others, with Indians,and Mestizos playing a large role in the Mexican revolution. The people eventually were tired of being ruled by an oppressive country and wanted to be their own country. Creating a revolution led by Jose Maria Morelos(Shown on the 50 Mexican peso), Miguel Hidalgo, and Agustin de Iturbide.

    Start of the South American Revolution
    The South American revolution began in Venezuela with two men by the name of Simon Bolivar(Shown in the picture) and Jose de San Martin. These two men were of the creoles class, and were tired of being treated differently and unable to hold a place in government like the pure blooded Spanish. Tired of being oppressed they decided to fight back.

    Like many others mentioned on this time line, this colony was also part of the Spanish empire, and they too fought back against the Spanish. These revolts against the Spanish started on 9/16/1810 where the cry of the Dolores was staged and the very next day, a army marched to face the Spanish(Led by Hidalgo). Out maned they were defeated, with that brought another defeat by the Spanish in 1815(Morelos led this revolt). Defeated by Agustin de Iturbide, who later freed Mexico from the Spanish.

    End of the Brazilian Revolution
    This revolution was an odd one compared to the rest, it was started due to a neighboring nation invading cause the Portuguese royal family to flee. Once they reclaimed Portugal from the French's hold, the native from Brazil were unhappy with being controlled by another country; and so the royal family satisfied with regaining of their home country. They left Brazil as its own country, this revolution happening all in one day.

    This has to be the most unique revolution out of the bunch, caused by the invasion of another nation in the form of France and Napoleon's men. The French invaded Portugal and Spain conquering both, leaving the Portuguese royal family to flee to their colony in South America. Which was Brazil at the time, the royal family ruled over Brazil from 1807 till 1822.

    End of the South American Revolution
    These creole men were the generals leading the revolution against the Spanish kingdom. They fought independently, Simon Bolivar creating a turning point on August, 1819 leading an army of 2,000 soldiers to victory against the Spanish in Bogota, Columbia. While, Jose de San Martin joined by Bernardo O'Higgins freed Chile from the Spanish. Finally, met by a common enemy they joined forces in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Having joined forces Simon Bolivar led his new army to victory against the Spanish.
